I am a Mathematics educator who is passionate about creating a classroom where all students feel valued, supported, and capable of success. With a specialization in Mathematics education, I strive to make learnign inclusive and engaging so that students feel confident exploring mathematical concepts and developing problem-solving skills. My teaching philosophy is that every student is capable of great things when they feel seen, supported, and given the space to understand concepts in ways that connect to their lived experiences, and I aim to support their success by making math accessible and meaningful. I have experience working with students at various levels and have developed strategies to break down complex mathematical ideas in a way that makes sense for learners.
Cell Phone Policy: Cell Phones must be placed in the cell hotel as soon as you enter class unless asked otherwise
Earphones: Earphones must be put away while class is in session.Listening to music during individual work time to help focus is okay with permission
Whiteboard work: All members of the group must participate in whiteboard activities. Collaborating with mutual respect and empathy is of the utmost importance.
Lates: You must arrive to class before the second bell. Three lates constitutes a detention
